Yin yoga is a slow practice, with poses held for long periods of time. Poses are seated or lying on the mat and held for anything between 2 to 7 minutes. This still practice allows time for the muscles to relax fully in to each pose, and provides an opportunity for stillness... something that is often missing in our busy lives. Yin yoga is a slow practice, with poses held for long periods of time. Poses are seated or lying on the mat and held for anything between 2 to 7 minutes.
