The Fold exists to grow beautiful organic produce for our community; to sustain local and organic food systems that don’t rely on airmiles and poisonous chemicals; to provide food security for the local area and to grow produce in a conscious and regenerative capacity that does not harm the land that is affordable
Growing food this way is financially very difficult to sustain in the current economic climate and so our events, cafe, and other activities at The Fold provide some income to keep the farm running.
We are delighted that you can now become a ‘Friend of the Farm’ and support our work with a monthly donation of your choosing from just £5, or a one off donation anytime at all.
We operate as a ‘Not for Profit’ meaning no profits are taken out of the business, everything is reinvested into the mission. These donations will help directly with the running costs of the farm itself, everything from seeds and equipment, to irrigation and paying our small farm team
We know that many of you support this work and want to help local organic farms such as ours to survive. If you do not live locally enough to regularly buy from The Veg Shed, becoming a Friend of the Farm or making a one off donation is a way to help.
