Cost £35
What to bring:
You do not need to bring anything to this class! The cost of the class includes all materials and equipment required to make a cosy hat but you may choose to bring in your own fabric if you prefer. Drinks and snacks are also included. There is no need to stay with your child but you will be expected to leave emergency contact details.
What to expect
The class is limited to 4 places so each participant will get plenty of support and help. Each child will have the use of a sewing machine and will be taught;
– How to measure and cut fabric safely.
– How to sew straight and curved seams on a sewing machine using a seam allowance.
– How to do gathering stitches on a sewing machine
– How to finish by hand sewing.
This class is taught by Becca. She is DBS checked and has over 20 years of experience working with children in local schools and holiday clubs. We have toilets adjacent to the studio through a connecting door so we are all set up!
