Sustainable Handcrafted Soap

Small Kindness is an independent, handmade soap business based at The Fold, created by Kelly after she was made redundant from her corporate career during the COVID-19 pandemic. Searching for a kinder, more considered way of working, she began making soap as a way to help people make small, meaningful choices that are gentler on the planet.

All soaps are handmade onsite using the traditional cold process method and organic, fairly traded ingredients. Every bar is palm oil free, vegan, cruelty free, and completely plastic free. To make them even more special, each soap is wrapped in a plantable label that grows UK native wildflowers, helping to support and protect our bees.

Kind to your skin, kind to people and kind to the planet.
This philosophy runs through the entire Small Kindness range, from hand and body soaps to shaving soaps and solid shampoo.

Alongside the product range, Kelly offers a series of thoughtful soap-making workshops, from relaxed beginner sessions to more in-depth courses.

Visitors are invited to step into the serene studio shop to explore beautifully made soaps, skincare, and considered gift sets, or to slow down and craft something by hand in one of her mindful workshops.
