The Fold Remains Open during Roadworks

The Fold is Still Accessible During Leigh Sinton Roadworks– Only 3 Extra Minutes Via Alternative Route

A five week closure of the A4103 will impact travel from Malvern to the Fold from 20 July to 21 August

We are appealing to our community for support during the long-term road closures, which start on Monday 20 July. Summer is usually our busiest time of the year and we are concerned about the impact this could have on visitor numbers.

As a seasonal, not-for-profit community enterprise, the disruption could reduce visitors to our cafe and veg shed, as well as the independent local studios, shops and plant nursery who call The Fold home. We are still very much open, and to make it easier for you, we’ve detailed a route from Malvern below which will take only 3 minutes longer than usual to reach us.

We hope you will continue to visit us to support The Fold and all of the small businesses based here throughout the roadworks.

Malvern Road Closure

From the Malvern area: Roadworks on the A4103 between Leigh Sinton and Bransford mean visitors coming from the Malvern direction need to take a 3 minute diversion to reach us:

  1. Take the main Worcester Road (A449) towards Powick and Worcester.
  2. Turn left at the stoplights in Powick (just past the Skoda garage by the closed Chinese restaurant the New Four Seasons).
  3. When you get to the T junction, turn left and follow it 2 miles, past The Bear and Ragged Staff, to the A4103.
  4. Turn left at the A4103 and the Fold will be on your right.

Visitors travelling from Worcester: Just ignore the road closed signs and drive straight on to The Fold as usual.

Visitors travelling from Hereford: It’s also a short diversion to get to us:

  1. Take the A4103 towards Leigh Sinton as usual.
  2. As you enter Leigh Sinton, just past the convenience store, turn left onto Sherridge Road.
  3. Continue to the T junction, turn right and follow through Bransford onto the small roundabout by the Bank House hotel.
  4. Turn left at the roundabout and you’ll be back on the A4103 with the Fold on your left.
