Lost Wax Ring making with Fi Tilbury
Jewellery making using the lost wax process is interesting, fun, relaxing and accessible to all levels of ability.
A 2-3 hour workshop carving your own design into the wax, which will be cast into silver. A great beginners introduction to jewellery, you can be as creative as you like but Fi can also help with the design process.
At the end of the workshop you will have learnt about the lost wax process and made a wax master which will be sent off to be cast in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
Your piece will then be hand finished by Fi and ready for you to collect from Fi’s studio, or posted to you (at extra cost).
£115 per person, including materials, tuition, tea, coffee and cake plus your finished silver ring
You will be in Fi’s studio number 4 in the back courtyard of the cafe.
Class sizes are small, although larger groups can be accommodated on request.
