For 20 years I was a National Childbirth Trust Teacher in Worcester, becoming an Advanced Teacher for 15 of these years.  As an Associate Midwifery Lecturer, I worked with Student Midwives for some years teaching Active Birth, and how to teach adults.  For three years  I was Parenting Education Consultant for Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust, and whilst in post helped to develop a DVD for parents to be, writing the script for the birth story on the DVD. I have contributed to a Midwifery in the Community textbook, with a chapter on teaching antenatal education in the community, and for the past 5 years have practised as an Independent Childbirth Educator in Worcestershire.

I believe in the power of birthing women and the power of understanding how to work with your body.

I believe in teaching simply and effectively and in transformational learning.

And I love babies!

Childbirth and Parenting Education – individual or group sessions for parents to be, providing a safe environment for questions and discussion about childbirth and parenting.

Straightforward information about how to help baby into the best position for labour, vocalisation, visualisation, mindfulness, active birth, belly dancing and movement, the “breath”, making space for the baby, how dads can help, the first few weeks with a baby.

Active Birth Skills Workshops monthly at the Fold.

Positive Birth Movement Free Drop in Meetings monthly in the Café at the Fold

Individual Birth Sessions or Refresher Sessions – £50 per hour

Active Birth Skills Workshops – £75 for the day

I practice from the Natural Therapy Centre at The Fold on Mondays and Saturdays.

Workshops are on Saturdays or Sundays
