An event every 2 weeks that begins at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating indefinitely
Yin yoga is a slow practice, with poses held for long periods of time. Poses are seated or lying on the mat and held for anything between 2 to 7 minutes. This still practice allows time for the muscles to relax fully in to each pose, and provides an opportunity for stillness… something that is often missing in our busy lives. The slower pace and longer holds also give us an opportunity to explore the more mindful and meditative practices of yoga, observing our thoughts and finding ways to let go.
