Annie is a very experienced teacher who has developed a deep understanding of Yoga which she brings to her teaching. Iyengar Yoga is a method of practicing Yoga that allows pupils to progress in each posture (asana) at their own level. Yoga is a wonderful way of relieving stress by strengthening the nervous system as well as the rest of the body. It makes the body supple and full of life. Annie teaches students of all ages and adapts to their needs. The opportunity to develop a strong practice is equally important to her as is the need to work with sensitivity to the needs of the body. In an Iyengar Yoga class you will be assisted in the postures with props and the teacher supports the pupils to find correct alignment, stretch and softness. As with all Yoga classes, the relaxation is utterly restorative for the body leaving pupils with a sense of freshness.
