Outside The Fold

A sense of place

The Fold at Bransford is a unique and inspirational space designed to encourage sustainable living and healthy lifestyles. We offer you an opportunity to have a special wedding celebration that is different. Developed around an original working farm and using the ecologically restored traditional farm buildings it offers you an experience that will be truly different, memorable and enjoyable but is centred upon a site which has low environmental impact and uses organic and local produce.

Our site is powered by low carbon solar electric and water systems and our heating is from our bio mass boiler powered by sustainable willow from a plantation on the farm. We strive to be a low carbon community and leave a small impact on the earth.

Food, drink and our zero-waste goals

Our food is freshly prepared on site by our chefs who use mostly organic, locally sourced and seasonal produce to create menus which are fresh, vibrant and bursting with flavour and energy. We regularly prepare vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as more traditional fare. We can also cater for gluten free and special diets where required. Our wines, beers, ciders and soft drinks are mostly organic and sourced from the local community of producers wherever possible.

The Fold is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) set up with the objective to improve the health of individuals, the community and our planet and support the local economy. Any surplus from your celebration will help support our activities which in particular help those otherwise excluded with significant life challenges on our care farm.

The Venues

We offer two unique indoor venues which provide the fabulous combination of an intimate gourmet wedding breakfast in the Cart House and a larger evening celebration in The Fold Café. We also have the option of using our large covered outdoor barn to accommodate those of you who might want a larger wedding, al fresco dining or a ceilidh!

The Cart House

Our 18th Century Cart House can seat up to 70 people for intimate wedding breakfasts. Stunning original beams, solid oak floor and large patio doors helps the space to flood with light.

The Cafe

Outside The Fold
The 17th-century granary barn that houses The Fold Café can host up to 120 guests for an evening celebration including a bar, room for a band or DJ and space for you to dance the night away!
Outside The Fold

Market barn

Our covered barn is perfect for larger and outdoor themed wedding parties. There is ample space for al fresco dining, fun and games or even a barn dance! The open sides can be rolled down for protection from the elements and the terrace offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and over to Worcester. We are also excited to have now installed a fairy light false ceiling!

Two local silversmiths have formed Silver Tree Studio Ltd – we’re delighted that they opened for business here at The Fold in September 2015. They make and design all their own jewellery, and welcome people to come and watch them working in the relaxed atmosphere of the studio, and to browse or buy items for sale. They will also be selling work by other local artists including stained glass, fused glass, felting, paintings, prints and cards. They aim to always use local suppliers and eco-friendly materials and practices wherever possible. All pieces are handmade with care making them extra special and ideal as a lovely gift or to treat yourself!
