Cafe Philosophique

Café philosophiques were started in the 1950s by French intellectuals, such as Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir, who used to meet regularly in Paris cafés to talk and debate.

Since the 1980s they have sprung up in cities across Europe, and the one at The Fold has been running for many years.

Tickets are £10 and include a two-course meal.
Hot, cold and alcoholic drinks available for purchase.
Evening runs from 6.30pm to 9.30pm
