On the 8th of April “Fold Theatre” presented the first night of their new touring production “Beside The Seaside”. The Cart House was filled to the last seat with an enthusiastic audience who were treated to a charming show packed with nostalgia, laughter and a heart warming story. It brought back memories of the British seaside holiday, the fearsome landlady, entertainment on the pier, saucy postcards, sand castles, fish and chips, donkeys, Punch and Judy, and much more.

Members of the audience were full of praise after the show:

“All the way through there were lovely little moments (the letters were only one) as well as the ‘Eric’ humour! I thoroughly enjoyed it.”

“Congratulations to the crew for last night’s show. Very entertaining and enjoyable.”

“A most enjoyable evening – we loved every minute.”
