The Fold is the place for unique, inspiring, eco-chic weddings. Our beautiful venue offers couples an opportunity to remain ethical without compromising the glamour of their special day. In a move away from the green “hippy” image, we can create a stylish and quality wedding that leaves a low environmental footprint.

Formal or informal, we will help you set the scene. There are so many ways to personalise your special day at the Fold and bring beauty and joy to even the smallest event.
the banquet
Cooking with Love is at the heart of the Fold kitchen and we will base your Wedding Feast around our ethos of Seasonal, Local and Organic produce. We have unearthed some real local gems - from delicious apple juices & Perry’s to fine English wines, and great local cheeses. If you fancy berries and cherries, then a summer wedding is for you; for Tarte Tatin of Wild Mushrooms set an autumn date, while Beef in Beer & Balsamic Vinegar and Chocolate Tart are perfect winter warmers.
the cake
For the wedding cake the choice is endless. Design, flavour, colour, size, sweet or savoury - we are open to ideas. A tiered collection of beautiful locally-made cheeses makes a wonderful centrepiece, or a tiered pork pie made from local, rare breed pork would create quite a sensation. We will commission a cake on your behalf with organic, natural and Fair Trade ingredients.

Preparing for a wedding is exciting but it can also be stressful. Our team of therapists at WholeHealth offer various forms of massage and reflexology to help ensure you, your fiancé, your parents, his parents, the grannies, in fact everyone involved, are a picture of health on the big day.

The Fold ecoCafe is a perfect venue for your party, from a small intimate gathering to a full blown disco. We also have a beautiful marquee that attaches to the north entrance to further extend the space.
