Hagglebag
Formed in 1995 in Worcester, this energetic (and sometimes anarchic) 5 piece Band has rapidly developed an enthusiastic following at various gigs and festivals in the UK.
Following two appearances at Denmark’s 2004 Tonder Festival, they also perform regularly in Denmark & Sweden. Influences are diverse, from arrangements of traditional tunes to the more contemporary; Pogues, Great Big Sea, Sharon Shannon, Steve Earle etc.
Fronted by the irrepressible Mick Morris on Double Bass & Vocals, the band features Lorna Davies – Flute; Liam Finch – Tenor / 5 string Banjos & Mandolin; Mark Westcott – Melodeons / Triangle & Nick Simon - Guitar / Vocals.
