We source our ingredients as locally as we can and whilst we do use ingredients from further a field, such as spices, grains and pulses, we source these from Europe where possible and work with our suppliers to ensure our ingredients have not been flown in. We are a supporter of Slow food and the Slow Food movement; see www.slowfoodworcestershire.org.uk for more information.
David McCaw our head chef is the Slow Food chef for Worcestershire
Our buffet style menu is based on fresh, seasonal, local, organic and fair trade ingredients with a health conscious bias, lovingly prepared under the guidance of Shamanic Chef David with support from Monica and the team in our theatre Kitchen. See www.theshamanskitchen.com

The Fold® is your local regional distributor for Auro paints. Auro paints are manufactured to some of the highest environmental standards in the industry; for bonding agents, vegetable raw materials are used exclusively. All paints are water based and where products, such as wood preservatives, require solvent, orange oil is used.
Even their production is managed in an ecologically sound manner at the certified carbon neutral factory. Where possible Auro collect rainwater for use in manufacture and one of the main ingredients in the range, linseed oil, is all produced within 30km of the factory, from predominately organic sources.
None of this comes at a cost to performance however and they still provide excellent quality, as well as a safe, chemical free environment. Most of the painting, oiling and waxing in the ecoCafé and WholeHealth have been done with Auro products, so why not come down and see them in action.
