Designer Makers & Artists
There are up to nine designer makers & artists working on site in the open studios producing beautiful crafts and artworks and representing some of the finest British talent
Metalworker and jeweller Sharon McSwiney
(Studio A, at the front of The Fold)
Working in both precious and non-precious metals such as copper and brass she creates jewellery and metalwork in various decorative finishes. Sharon has an open studio where you can see her creating her pieces and a lovely shop where you can purchase her work.
Jeremy Cornwell
and his team operating from Foal Yard Gallery and furniture workshop(Studio H, opposite Studios A & B)
Devoted to exploring new designs that can be batch produced combining traditional hand finishing and state of the art wood machining techniques. Jeremy also has a shop on the Fold site showcasing designer furniture, ceramics, glass ware and designer home goods.
Emma Waller's Glacier Glass
(Studio C, in the courtyard to the other side of the Fold Café)
Emma Waller designs and makes glass pieces using fusing and slumping techniques with glass kilns. Mixing materials, metals, enamel and glass to create stunning colour schemes and unique patterns. Her Workshop and gallery are open Tuesday to Sunday. A wide variety of fused glass in shapes, designs, sizes and colours is on sale at competetive prices. Glacier also accepts private and public commissions for work as diverse as replacement windows, cooker and splashbacks, shower screens and panels for use as a work of art.
Goldsmith Shivani
(Studio D, also in the courtyard to the other side of the Fold Café)
Working exclusively with precious metals, each piece is completely hand crafted. Shivani works using the Korean technique of 'Keum-boo', involving fusing pure gold foil to the surface of silver. Precious, bespoke, wearable, contemporary jewellery
Sarah and Marie-Therese of eekBatik
EekBatik exhibit and sell from the Gallery above the ecoCafe
Sarah and Marie-Therese run workshops in schools and produce batik commissions. Information about Marie-Therese's book "Tree Of Birds".

Amber Laith / Artist - Féran Art Studio Studio 1 - in the courtyard.
Creating paintings, drawings and pieces in a variety of techniques and styles, with artwork predominantly featuring semi-abstract paintings using strong lines and bold colours.
